Toronto

Over the course of my adult life, I have lived in Toronto for almost 15 years. Some pictures in this gallery are very 'iconic'. Others simply bring back great memories - from the Beaches in the east to Mississauga in the west, as well as the amazing Toronto Islands, and the waterfront.

Man Made Abstracts

Whether on the dinner room table at home or in a country on the other side of the world, there are always interesting shots to be found. Just let the imagination run wild! These images were taken in three different countries.

Hot Air Balloon Festivals

Images included are from the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon festival in Gatineau, Quebec, as well as the Page Arizona Balloon Regatta. The first is held over the Labour Day long weekend in Canada, and the second is held during Halloween, ear the Hoover Dam in Arizona.

Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), Seattle

This iconic landmark in Seattle, Washington, was formerly known as the Experience Music Project (EMP), and then the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (EMP/SFM). It was the brainchild of Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen. It was designed by the famous American architect, Frank Gehry. A total of 21,100 specially shaped stainless steel and aluminum plates form the building's curved exterior. MoPOP is located right beside to the Seattle Space Needle, near the Seattle waterfront.
